Rockwool (insulator) several types and methods of installation mention here the most important of these species:.

Interfaces

Insulating rock wool (insulator) is used for thermal insulation and can be mounted in the facades behind the external fittings such as ceramic, marble and granite in different forms of slats or foils withdifferent thicknesses and densities, according to the specifications set for the building that will be constructed. Moreover, Rockwool can be used as an external insulatorfor the previously constructed buildings that needs to be thermally and acoustically insulated. This operation can be executed externally as it protects all parts exposed to sunlight and thus extends the life of the building, in addition to remarkably reducing electricity consumption.

Double Walls

It is one of the most important solutions for buildings’ insulationas it helps tocontrol thermal resistance level by increasing the thermal insulation thickness. The use of the red brick pottersalong with rock wool will increase the susceptibility of thermal and acoustic insulation as well as fire-resistant. Double walls can be used externallywith buildings under construction, or internally between rooms in special buildings such as hotels, hospitals and schools as to insulate sound and to limits the spread of fire.

Roof insulation

The large amount of thermal energy is leaked inside buildings across the ceilings where it's exposed directly to the sun, as to avoid this problem, the factory is providing insulating Rockwool which is the optimized product for insulating concrete roofsby usingRockwool slabs with density of (170 Kgj / m 3), This Slabs are to be covered with special type of plastic bags and installed tightly over the concrete ceiling, then applying a net of iron bars with 6mm diameter, last step is to add a light concrete layer on the slopes, and finally install the liquid insulator.

Stock Houses

Stock houses’ ceilings which is covered with crimpyiron sheetsalways needs thermal insulation, as the substance of the iron sheet is considered as a good heat conductor. Therefore, Rockwool material should be installed under the iron sheets, it consists of a coil with one side of aluminum which is always placed in the lower direction. This coils are known by its’ extreme flexibility to fit for installation between the crimpy iron sheets.

Gypsum Partitions

Rock wool material is not only a thermal insulator, but it is used to insulate sounds as well, and it is used as an insulation material between gypsum partitions where the level of sound transmission is in the range of 44 when using rock wool thickness 50 mm, density of 60 Kgj / m3. The factory is able to produce any specifications in line with the requirements of any project. Sound insulation is not only restricted in between the room, but also insulates the noise of the vehicles on the streets.

Air Conditioners’ Extensions

Coils are also used in insulating conditioners’ air extensions, it should be flexible as it can cover any form of extensions either circular or in rectangular shape, it is usually tightened with lashes and plastic ties.

External Insulators

Is one of the solutions used for complete thermal insulation for buildings, it is applied by the installing a mechanical system on buildings’ exteriors made ofsheets of light materialssuch as aluminum, so that the distance between each sheetwill be the same of Rockwool width which will be installed, then Rockwool insulator is placedandfixed between the sheets. Finally, applying the external layer such as marble, stones, ceramic. The benefit of this type of thermal insulation is thatit allows air to enter from the top or the bottom, which is usually required by European insulationcodes. This solution works to ventilate the thermal insulation and does not lock the heat inside, in addition to the advantage of the ability to use any thickness of the thermal insulation in accordance with the required specifications.

Insulating Existing Buildings

Existing Buildings can be insulated as well, as it will significantly reduce electricity consumption up to 70% of the electricity bill and that if the insulation is done properlyby insulation all the external parts of the building including columns, beams, walls, ceilings and others.
